
Alexandra Gardner
Born in 1945, Alexandra studied at Glasgow School of Art before lecturing there from 1968 - 1989.
She has been the recipient of many awards, including the Lauder Award by the Glasgow Society of Artists, the Travelling Award to Italy from the Scottish Arts Council and the Paper Boat Award from Mayfest.
Her work has been selected for several solo exhibitions since 1967, at home and abroad, and is held in many corporate and private collections including the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, the Wogga-Wogga City Art Gallery in New South Wales and Sweden Volvo.
