John Boyd
John has been a professional artist about 20 years.
Commissions include: 50th anniversary painting modern homes exhibition. ( shown on T.V.) / Six paintings to celibrate the 600th anniversary of Renfrew as a royal borough / Commissions for the R.A.F. / Golf course commissions - most recently four paintings for Western Gailes golf club. / Other sporting commissions include work for Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic - including the "Dream Team" painting of Rangers greatest 11 as voted for by the supporters.
Studio and artwork featured on a Sky T.V. documentary shown in U.S.A. and Canada.
Work includes landscape / seascape / portrait / aviation / wildlife and in many cases
nostalgia - e.g. tramcars or famous ships from the past.
